From Mrs S

I like the image in the poster, it works, but you might want to take a closer look at the edges of the image, they seem a bit 'frayed'

Album Digipack

I asked my focus group what they thought of the poster and album digipack and they said they prefered the poster where the black edges had not been feathered as it looker more neat and modern. Because of this i took the feathered effect off the edge of the black boxes.

They said they liked the digipack but thought the blue coloured font was hard to read so i changed this font to match the one from the poster and also made it black. Because of this i changed the font on all of the tasks so thatthe name of the artist and any titles were in "freehand 591 BT" and pink and all the rest of the text was in "Parisian BT" and black.

This is looking good. Make sure that you print and check that the writing doesn't bleed off the page.

Poster 3 Draft 4

When i asked my focus group, they said they did not really like the font, so i ahve changed the font on the poster as well as the album digipack.

I edited out the bra strap from the image to make it look more attractive and professional.

You use colours well in your print tasks. Make sure you keep links across all your products. Get some filming up so we can see what your main task will look like.

Nice choice of image for poster. Is it possible to get rid of the bra strap in the pic? It doesn't look too good with it there.

Because my original poster was too cluttered, i designed a second poster which mathces the codes and conventions better and is less cluttered.

Mrs D

It's great to see some drafts up here Katie. Your CD cover is coming along nicely. I would have a think about the images that you use for your poster as it seems a little cluttered.

Because the font i want to use will not allow me to write freely, i changed the layout of the poster slightly so i can keep the font.

My focus group said that they liked the fonts "dear joe 5 casual", "Fineliner script", "disco diva" and "orial" the most, so i choose from these fonts for my poster, album digipack and music video.

Title colour

I experimented with different colours to come up with a combination for the title on my poster and album cover. I used the colours my focus group wanted and then showed them to my focus group. They liked the bottom option the most, so will experiment with and develop this combination further.
