Music Video

I spoke to my focus group and asked for their opinion on my video. They said that they did not feel it had enough of a story to it and that, although they originally requested a performance based video, it needed more narrative to involve the audience more and to make the artist more of a focus, as she was not as improtant as she should be.

Because of this i will shoot some more shots of my artist on her own and the feed these into my video so that she beomes more of the focus. I will use these to add the narrative that throughout her daily life "she just wants so dance" which is what the lyrics of the song are about.

I experimented with different fonts which would make the text look more like an actual tattoo on the artists arm.

I tried arranging the information more traditionally on this poster and used the pink and burnt orange colour scheme, but i do not think that it stands enough.

I used the same image as on the front of the digipack and one of the images inside to create synergy. I also kept the same colour scheme. I changed the text to look like a tattoo on the artists arm, which was more individual.

Digipack Inside Draft 2

I got rid of the writing over the picture as it was not neccessary and could not easily be seen over the image. However i kept the artists website and put this at the botton of the right hand column, moving the other text up. I also deleted some of the text from the lyrics of the song and wrote "Chorus" instead of repeating the chorus each time which made it a lot clearer and it looked a lot neater. I then moved the title of the song to the top centre so it looked more bold and was more obvious.

I got rid of the black lines around all of the boxes so that the digipack joined together better and flowed a lot more. I also got rid of the writing including the artists name, D.O.B etc as it was not neccessary and it could not be seen well over the picture. I then put the artists website at the bottom of the page on the right side column and moved the title of the track on the left hand side to the top centre of the page so it was more onvious.

I used the image from the previous front of the digipack in the inside as i felt it promoted the artist in a more positive way. I also included the image from the front of the digipack to create synergy. I then changed the colour scheme to match the front of the album cover.

Digipack Front and Back Draft 1

I changed the image used for the front of the digipack and then picked out the burnt orange from the background to use in my colour scheme. I also used the white from her dress and added some pale pink so that it matched the pop genre better.
